People are so stupid. They are called seas LIONS for a reason. Thankfully, the hero didn't hesitate before saving the child.

What I find interesting is how the sea lion gets predatory when it hears the child. The little girl isn't even in the video yet. Them it checks out the prey, which is human, and makes its move. Me thinks it wasn't the first time.

The parents were REALLY not too clever. Thank goodness the grandfather was. It cost him a pair of sunglasses, though. Authorities want to contact the parents. They are afraid any piercing of the skin could lead to infection.

You can't cure stupid.

My opinion, authorities need to get in contact with the "parents", they are not responsible enough to have a kid!

Hang on. Shouldn't we focus blame on the namby-pamby authorities who refuse to go out and put a bullet in that critter's head.

This is Vancouver. The only shooting done is by addicts in gov't supervised area.

Here's another video, notice how the sea lion lunged at the little girl before. Yet the "parents" still allowed the kid to sit on the edge of the dock. You can't hide ignorance.
