How do you trappers sell your raccoon pelt with the tail split or not split?Why?thanks.

Raccoon tails need to be split or they will not dry properly. If not dried properly, they could rot.

Always split any tail that stays with the pelt.If you don't it will shurely slip.If you are selling green fur who ever puts the fur up will do it, if your putting up your own it is a must
