I tried using an air compressor on otter. I did maybe ± a half dozen. It works. However,
it leaves so much flesh on the pelt, that the time I saved in skinning was negated by the additional time required for fleshing. I went back to knife work. It is rather strange to see an otter "pressurized". He looks like a shortened football. I have heard of using this method on other animals. I tried it once on a beaver with much the same results I had with the otter.
I cannot imagine it being necessary on any of the other animals I target.
