I'm curious, has anyone here ever caught a fish in a bodygrip trap while going for beavers? This morning when I checked the beaver traps, I had caught a 5-6lb carp in a #330. Cause of that fish, I will now carry a camera with me, whenever I check the traps now.

I've never caught fish in my coni's, but I have caught 2 snapping turtles in 333's and 1 in a 220. It's a lot of fun getting them out 'cause they are still quite alive and they seem to be rather anoyed.

I got a snapping turtle in a 330 here in Mississippi last week. It was good and dead - ugliest thing I think I've ever seen, that neck swelled way up, and once I got the chain loose from the cable stake it actually FLOATED the 330! Lawd have mercy!

No offense deltapuppy but discriptions like that give antis fuel to throw on the already raginging fire we all should be very careful what we say and how we say it unwanted catches are a fact of life but maybe we should talk about them personally not publicly in this day and age we all must be very careful.

TRAPPERBOB- I respectfully disagree. It is time to stop pussyfooting around- I believe that the fact that we try to hide everything we say and do about trapping (or even hunting/fishing) only makes our trade seem somewhat shady. We do kill animals, just as cow, chickens, etc are killed- gutted and cut into pieces- this is reality. If we can't use the trapping forums to speak our minds, then where? Heaven knows that the Anti's web sites sure are graphic. Anyway, just my opinion. trappnman

Caught a 7' gator in a 330,
caught one slightly smaller
in a # 14 Onida (sp).
Most unusal catch in a 330 was
an eatin' sized bull frog.
Adios
