CHEAP,
Their is no cheap! Trapping, fishing, boating, hunting, shooting is not cheap. They are some of the most expensive sports around.

Now you have miniums..what is the bare min you can get by with?
Do you need top line equipment to start out. That is the idea planted in peoples heads by magazines and some others.

No you do not need top line equipment to start out. What is the best buy for the money that "YOU" can afford and feel comfortable about afterward.

Went to a gun show and a fella had a whole Rubbermaid tote full of traps marked $2.00 each or make offer on whole tote. They had belonged to his uncle that had passed away. He never trapped--asked his Dad what to sell them for.

Now over at the flea market, one section inside the barn is set up to sell all those painted items, dried weeds and stinky candles.

They are selling board strechers, all sizes as antiques.

So I notice one fella explaining to this couple who was looking at what appeared to be a large maybe, wolf board. He told them it was an antique ironing board from the 20's or 30's,apartment size. He had even crafted legs for one of them.

I was amazed----never a dull moment at the flea market. laugh
