Just got back from camp where I spent a couple of weeks painting the cabin. All done!! (for now ) Took some time off to visit Escanaba for the convention. I thought it was a huge success. Many buildings to poke through, with a plethora of vendors and tailgaters along the way. Took me two days to fully take in all that was to be had, including a slow walk through the steam museum. Great bargin prices on all things. Had an enjoyable chat with Hal and Joyce. Would have liked to have spent more time with them, but got swept away by the crowd. I thought the demo area was second to none, and a good crowd at each demo. Michigan trappers deserve a huge 'atta boy' for the convention they put together.

It was a good convention. Pretty well organized. And you couldn't beat the weather. (46° Thursday morning) The buildings were a little spread out though.
