This was not an old wolf. It was an adult that I think was lobo. Usually that means that it was kicked out of the pack by the dominant female.

The feet are typical. They have huge feet.

Here is another I recently caught. It is a young female of 64 pounds.Wolves grow into their feet in a similar fashion as a big dog that grows into its feet.

Nice! I wish, sort of, that we had wolves. I would love to match wits with one.
