Leaving a bank den to go repair its dam which has been damaged by something or someone causing the water level of the beaver made pond to go down.

Going back to its other den and daily routine.

There are a lot of guesses left, are we out of guessees?

This is a lot of fun but I do not have the conditions you have with the high water. I live only a few miles from the continental divide in the foothills of the Blue Ridge mountains. I have made two guesses but have no experience with your area of the country. It is still interesting to learn how others trap there areas.

To carry mud and stones for repair ?

1- the beav. is going up roadway ditch as it appears the silt is going downward.
2- The beav. is heading up the embankment of a road culvet area
3- the beav. is heading down a washed out culvert.

To find a place of its own to call home, parents wants it to move out.
