The woods are still knee deep in the stuff here!

I bet that the driving is a bit of excitement considering that winter tires aren't involved and driver experience is limited. smile

I spend a couple weeks a few miles south of Hal's camp. At one of the social events at a neighbor's camp. A young fella was expounding how he thought that the danger of "black ice" was much over stated. After all with his truck he could drive on it like it was a warm, dry roadway. Over all a prevailing point of view in the south from how I have seen people drive down there during some pretty scary road conditions. Honestly, anymore I stay in and let Darwin sort them out. The majority just have no concept on how to deal with bad road conditions

Driving on black ice isn't the challenge. Turning corners and stopping are!

At least here, we have nice deep snow banks to cushion the impact.
