I don't know much about ginseng, so let me ask: Will deer eat off the tops? Groundhogs?

Years ago I found a plant up on the mountain between where I have cameras #2 and #3 now. That was spring turkey season, wasn't looking for it, almost stepped on the thing. It just looked different, and I knew what it was. I brought a piece home and had a friend confirm it for me.

A while back I was talking to a man, ginseng was a part of his retirement plan. I hope that works out for him. But another friend is growing tame blueberries. He gave me a batch, some of his berries were as big as a marble.

Talked to him the other day, he's picked and sold over 600 pounds of blueberries. Been selling them for $25 per gallon. Not sure what he's been selling them for per pint or quart?
