Wondering if anybody has used bass as bait. Iíve had good luck with smoked carp that I was given to try but I donít have carp on my lake. Lots of small mouth bass though. Nobody likes to eat em but I figure I could smoke it and preserve it to use in my coon cuffs this year. Might be worth a try?

There are lots of things that are 'worth a try'. That's how we get great new things to use. Give'r a try and let us know how it turned out. And, you might want to try salting some and compare the results against the smoked stuff.

Good luck, Frank.
