I checked cameras 1, 2 and 3 yesterday. Nothing special buck wise, I have 3 or 4 buck deer with horns about as long as their ears.

I had bear pictures on cameras #2 and #3. A friend of mine gave me a sack full of trout leftovers, heads, guts and skins, a while back. I dumped them at camera #2, I've got a bunch of coon pictures and a gray fox. No bobcats or coyotes this check.

I did see a hen turkey in the road yesterday, no sign of peeps with her. People are starting to see fawns.

I finally have a couple of bear baits hit. They are not really eating yet but I did see them on the cameras. Traps are set and we will see what happens.

Notice the deer head in the bottom left corner of the picture. As well as I can tell, there are 5 buck deer running together, that's camera 4.

Seems like the bear are moving around pretty good here. About 2 weeks ago I was coming back to town from the King's place, they were planting corn in the bottom fields (in the "red box" area from the GPS bobcat thread). Later that evening one of the guys that farms that area told me there was a big bear digging out the corn. Digging up the same seed corn that was just planted, hours before.

I know some guys around here that have bear hounds, they've been treeing bear every weekend. One of my facebook friends posted a video yesterday, it was a sow bear with a little cub just off the highway. She lives about 5 miles east of town, she took the video between here and her house.

I just found this picture, he's in the middle left edge. Looks like he might end up with a decent set of horns.

I've been getting reports of folks seeing fawns for the last 2 or 3 weeks.

I replaced camera #1 the other day, the original camera was over 3 years old when it died. Also put up a camera at the "upper salt lick", that's where my buddy Moe usually puts up his camera. I've got 5 cameras in the woods now.

Looks like I have 5 different bucks on camera #4, they've been running together. Not a very good picture but this is the best one.

Camera #4.

Not a very good picture, think there was a spider or other bug on the lens. Before and after pics look ok.

Here's a picture from the "Upper salt lick camera." The camera has only been in place about 2 weeks, nothing but deer pictures and no antlers.
