I caught two 20 pound coons today. One weighed 14 pounds and one weighed 15 pounds. How much do your 20 pound coons weigh?

On a side note, both of these coons were big old boars. If you've caught very many coons, eventually you'll run across one that has only half a tail. With one of those coons, the tail was so tough that I ripped it out by the root when I tried to pull it. Try as I might I could not pull that tail. I had to cut it all the way to the tip. I wonder if that coon wasn't in some sort of process of losing his tail and that's why it was so solidly glued to the bone.

Caught a whopper the other day. I knew it would weigh more than 25 lbs. And it did, 26.5 lbs on that scale you gave me at the OSTA convention.

What's that word I'm looking for? All ya, exponentially. That's it. Exponentially four coon weighting 13 pounds each in a backpack up hill for 300 yards weigh roughly 54.67 lbs each. Ah heck, that left knee, that left knee, these darn coon are 62 lbs each. Well, that's my calculation.

If you caught 13 pound coons in Tennessee, those were 20 pound coons. No wonder you had trouble packing them out. smile

Hard to tell how big a coon is without a point of reference, or a scale. smile
