Here's a critter that I missed the first time I checked the pictures. It blends in very good.

Wow! He sure blended in alright. Thought it was a broke off top of a pine tree. Had to blow up the pic 300% to see him. Nice!!

Frank.

A couple more pictures.
Note to self: Changed batteries at lured rock camera. I just started writing down when I change batteries, should have from the start.

The batteries were about dead in the camera, but this is the most recent bear picture that I have. Unless I have bear pics on the Spring Camera, haven't checked it since 12/25/19. We've had some very warm weather, there should be a bunch of pictures on that camera, will get to it in a week or two.

I've been hearing rumors about a man killing a 10-point buck, still in velvet. Can't seem to get a picture of it yet. But if it's the same deer that I had pictures of back in October, their property is over a mile and a half from where I got pictures of it. Air miles, I mean. If the buck is still on all 4, he should be nice next season.

It blends in very well. My opinion the bobcat will go over 20 pounds.

Talking about our deer population, I talked to the man from the DOH, and told him that I'd like to have a truckload of deer carcasses. That's been 6 weeks ago, and I haven't got a single one yet. Talked to him again yesterday, he said that they're just not finding any roadkill deer.

Checked the Upper and Lower salt lick cameras yesterday, over 700 pictures total.

Those bucks are holding onto their racks.

Your lack of snow is very different from my world. We got 18 inches over the week end and we are expecting -40 C. tonight. Wifey and I could not even tap trails with the snow mobiles yesterday as we kept getting stuck in the fluff. Things were better today as the snow packed.

Believe it or not, I have a robin hanging around. I can't figure that one out.

We've had a very mild winter. We've had snow in the mountains 3 or 4 times, that only lasted 2 or 3 days, then it's warmed up. And rained some too.

I went out varmint calling the other night, was 17* F. here at the house, I had 14* on the truck thermometer, just out of town. Then back up to 60* a day or so later. Don't think we're going to get out of the 30's today. I've been calling alone, and so far I'm 0 for 6. I did see eyes on the last setup, not sure what it was?

I looked back across the 2018 deer picture thread, I had bucks up into March 2019 that still had their antlers.
