Please remind me again-----Water over 1.5 to 2' deep. With a dive stick at, or near, the surface, how deep do beavers and otters dive, usually? I think I learned that one species dives just under the stick, while the other species dives down and hugs the bottom. I can't remember.

Beavers tend to go to the bottom. Otters will often go just under the stick.
