Everyone is home safe and sound. Beds are washed and the house cleaned up. We even took the tree down!

I did not film at all. But the camera phones were out and we have all we need.

Definitely a good Christmas. Funny thing: I received a few Xmas parcels today after everyone was gone. Stocking stuffers and such that were delayed due to the poor weather. I'm saving them for next year.

I get the whole fandamly here each Christmas, I guess because I've got the biggest house. Just a dozen of us, sitting around the table, eating and enjoying each other. Tree twinkling, fire place flaming, and Christmas tunes on the 50 yr old stereo system. My kids chipped in to send me to Minnesota, this coming January, by airplane (I've never flown anywhere before) so I can take a turn at mushing sled dogs. One of my daughters did that last year and had a ball. I showed interest, so they went ahead and booked me to do it also. Going with the same daughter. Her male friend will drive there ahead of us to ice dive with his scuba dudes. Those two are signed up to have one sled, and I'll have my own. We'll drive back home, a 12 hr trip. Looking forward to it!

Great photo!

I think you'll have a great time. Let us know how it goes. I want to hear your impressions on the flying and the sledding.

That is a very nice picture.

I'll tell you, the kids couldn't have picked a nicer Christmas gift. Very good job!

Not much of a Christmas here, in fact none. Kids all tested positive for Covid. Now we have a mountain of presents to stash somewhere for the time being. Maybe we'll celebrate St. Patrick's day instead. smile

That is sad that your Christmas didn't happen. Go out and do all of the shopping and planning, and then nothing.

Talking about this Covid, my opinion, we've all been lied too.

Over in the other thread I mentioned that we took Big Donnie's deer to Moe's shed to work it up. Donnie, Moe and I were all 3 right there together. It was either the next day, or 2 days later? Moe called me and said: Bad news, Susan (his wife) has Covid. I think she had a cough and a slight fever. Otherwise she was ok.

The next day, Moe called and said that Susan had shared it. Moe tested positive. He said his throat was scratchy.

Moe, Jim and I have a 3-way chat on facebook. Moe commented that one time: If either of you guys are going to buy me a Christmas gift, I'd like to have a bottle of Wild Turkey Honey, to help sooth my throat. lol. I didn't buy him one and I don't think Jim did either.

But Susan's birthday was just before Christmas, so I gave her a call. Just to wish her a happy birthday and Merry Christmas and check on them both. The whole time we were on the phone, Susan was: Cough, cough, cough. . . Cough, cough, cough. . .

They are both fine now, and good to go.

Talking about our Christmas gifts, a month ago I asked Moe if he'd go shopping with me. I told him, it won't long. We're just going to Tractor Supply, I'll buy 2 kayaks, and I'm done! I was going to get one for my brother and one for my daughter.

We went down there and they didn't have what I wanted, and the price went up $100. I talked to the manager and she said that I could have them shipped, store to store. Bud and Kim both know what I'm getting them, it'll be a while before it's warm enough to use them anyway. But I screwed up that time!

Yeah, bummer on your Christmas, dude. Nothing like seeing a kiddie's face when the holidays come into focus. Don't know how old your grand kids are, but I miss the toddler age of the youth. Them big eyes checking out all the decorations. Shoot, my youngest grandcub is a senior in high school and works two jobs. Anyway, time will set things back to normal. I like your idea about St. Patrick's day. And I hope Joyce is all mended up enough to dance the Christmas Polka!!

Stay cool man, Frank.

One thing that I forgot to mention above, Moe and Susan both took the 2 shot Covid deal. And they also took the "booster" shot.

They are both ok now.

Yes they have!

Now is the time to get them helping you: stacking wood, carrying beaver, shoveling snow off the roof. All the fun stuff.

Glad you were finally able to get together.
