Well I made it back to camp, messed around for a couple of days, buttoned up the camp for the winter, then made it back home in time for my son's open heart surgery. Wasn't about to stay at camp, with sporadic cell phone service, while my son is on his back with someone sawing his chest open. Was called a double by-pass. I would not have been able to concentrate on what I was doing, which is not good when setting MB 650s and body grip traps. The doctor finally came out and explained to us what he did, and how it all went well. My son is home now, with a very pain full recovery ahead. I know it took years for me to receive my permits. Probably be in my 80s before I get another bobcat permit. But, as always, family comes first. Looking forward to our family gathering on Christmas day. My youngest grandcub is even flying in from his schooling in North Carolina. (Nascar Technical Institute) Hoping my son is recouped enough to join us.
So let's get rid of this thread's subject matter and get on to something more interesting. Hope everyone has a great Christmas.
Frank.
