If you are lucky enough to hit the heart - I liken it to bowhunting - trying to hit the lung area to collapse the lungs for a quick humane death. A low lung shot would probably result in more blood where the higher the hole the less blood. Now on a frontal shot straight in -think about when you hang the animal upside down with the chest being down it's going to probably be more like a head shot the blood draining out the bullet hole. Where as you have a side shot lungs kind of high and back a little when you hang the coyote up to skin the blood will stay in the chest cavity. Just my thoughts on it.
