I put 5 cups of flaked wax to 5 gallons of dirt on a 4X8 sheet of plywood, covered with plastic.
I did two batches, one was good garden soil and the other was more sand. Most of what I trap in is sandy soil. The garden soil turned out great. The sand turned out solid, I'm still working on breaking it up, what did I do wrong?

You didn't keep stirring until everything cooled.

I filled a metal bucket half full of my hard waxed dirt, and put it in the oven at 250 for twenty minutes. I took it out and stirred the sand with a paint mixer on the end of a drill until cool. It took awhile but it worked!
